Nate Cosby's take is fine, but it isn't what we are shown. He is clearly talking about a different character. Perhaps he should write the character and Lobdell, who I am really starting to like should not.

Because she is treated as an emotionless sex robot. This is directly counter to how she has been treated in the past. We suddenly go from, "Oh, Dick, on my world we allow ourselves to love many people...always emotionally...sometimes physically." to "Just that love has nothing to do with it"
From her earliest appearances, she has always been a relatively sexual character with an alien way of looking at things and doing things. Her lack of understanding of earth ways has always been charming and endearing, but she was relate-able as an outsider she had depth she was a real character.
This latest take on her she is nothing but a prop. She exists as fan service and I'm sure something for the boys to fight over in the future. She has gone from a character overflowing with love for everybody to a bland cardboard cutout of a character that love has nothing to do with.
In this particular comic she isn't really even a character she's only used to illustrate the differences between Roy and Jason (she also does some actiony stuff off panel but since she presumably was not posing provocatively there's no good reason to have shown us any of that).
I'm certainly not a feminist, and I'm not against anybody expressing themselves as sexual beings. But the basic story telling maxim of "Show, don't tell" applies to the comic medium as fully as it does to any other. This book fails at that in the biggest possible way, they instead went with tell, tell, and tell again, then demonstrate.

There is! Check out Gail Simone's Secret Six. It's fairly awesome, and he's quite prominent in the book.

I.. didn't know there WAS a Catman. I am sure I should feel some kind of shame, but.. well.. Cosplay is Cosplay, and if you want to be Catman, then damn it man, get that costume ready!

We are trying to make it to Emerald City Comic Con. I just survived PAX in Seattle, I'm sure I could make it there, too.

I find it coincidental that you chose September 11th to post your TANKERS propaganda.

This is me reminding you to keep fighting the good fight, gathering your images, hording your fonts and information, and to just keep going.

I'm a ghost these days, but I'm still around -- and I'll know if you give up. That's how these things work.

Keep doing updates!
